The coaches who used a pass happy offense prior to Edwards were Don Coryell at San Diego State and Sid Gillman with the Chargers.
By the way, how many of Edwards' RBs or WRs ever got 1,000 yards in a NFL season (Todd Christensen doesn't count before that guy on the board who keeps referring to Todd as a RB in the NFL since Todd was a TE in the NFL).
