If the coach is non-lds he will promote his beliefs.  The coach has a bigger roll in the life of a young man than the instructor.  He is with him more, teaches him more about how to be a man.  Is normally a bigger roll model.  

The coach is normally a more visable leader and influences the entire world.  He must advocate LDS principles.  He must deliver the message of the Church.
