I've found there are tons of random message boards dedicated to everything imaginable. If you google search your issue, you may not find an answer, but you may stumble on some "hot water heater fan" website or "all about plumbing" website and be able to ask your question there. That's what I did when I couldn't figure out how to replace my garbage disposal and when I had issues with a car battery, too.
