If the question was as to a single team, say BSU, how do you respond?
You could do it for each individual team, but it seems burdensome.
SDSU?
BSU?
Houston?
Cincinnati?
Over the roughly 8 seasons of independence, has BYU fared better as a program or as a team than any one of these?
I don't mean it to be rhetorical. I think it is reasonable to say BYU has fared better. But I think it is as reasonable to argue that each of these teams has fared better of the independence era, too.
