Utah isn't bad. They're good. Just not really good. USC also isn't as good
as I thought they would be at the beginning of the year, though they're still very good. Darnold really hurting USC with those fumbles.
But the PAC 12 does this every year (with the exception of last year). Nobody is spectacular, just all decent to very good, and they end up taking themselves out of the playoffs. Even ASU is beating UW by 2 scores. Virtually any team in the PAC 12 could beat any other team--with the exception of OSU. They're not gonna beat anyone.
