I love how Josh Rosen is a freshman hero while throwing to not one, not two, but three NFL WRs all in one year, yet it's all credit to him... But Tanner Mangum has a similarly good year with no NFL WRs and even including a 5'9 former walk-on... Yet he was somehow the luckiest freshman ever and all credit goes to these monster WRs who rarely had to use their height to catch his passes, and when they did, it's still not credit to him for maybe perhaps ever placing the ball in a spot where you could take advantage of being 6'6 in the first place.
All of these QBs every year are so amazing even though they're playing with loads of NFL talent and high caliber coaches, but Tanner is extremely "lucky" and constantly "bailed out" after doing more with less. Where do we manage to come up with this self-loathing trash that gets regurgitated constantly without any regard for the fact that it only shows up on here?
One would think no other QB in history has had a WR help him look good.
