....the national fanbase we can get out to that would be harder if we were in a regional conference. Local fans take BYU for granted because you have BYU sports all year long. This isn't to offend the local fans, just a reality. Fans out in NC have to spend lots of time and money if they want to go see BYU in Provo. Hence why they are so excited when BYU shows up in their backyard.
