best position to be P5 or join a conference. If being in the AAC would allow BYU to be in a better position to join a P5/4 conference then do it. But this argument is so overdone on so many meaningless points. For me it comes down to P5 Status, BYU is Indy to increase "exposure" which honestly means they want to be relevant and at the table with everyone else.
