Why would you think a JC QB wouldn't be better based on what you've seen?
Mangum (struggling)
Hoge (shows promise but what is his health status?)
Wilstead (next years schedule is murderer's row. Hard to imagine he will be ready as a freshman)
Detmer (see Utah State)
Critchlow (may be great but he had one offer from Southern Utah so tempering expectations just a bit)
Dinkelman (true freshman)
