it was the greatest turnaround of a defense that I've ever seen. Same exact players on the "D," but went from ranked around 90-120 in many defensive categories, to the equivalent of top 20 in almost every category, looking at just numbers for the last six games, even ranked in the top ten on run D, and some other categories. Only thing different was the coach calling defensive plays, and involved in preparation. Regardless of one's personal opinion about Bronco - that was a masterful coaching job, imo.
