Mostly curious. Are bowl eligibility rules based on win % or simply number of wins?
The UCLA rule would seem to point to win count (6) being the standard, then dipping into the 5 win teams when needed to fill the bowls.

Say we end up 5-8 (I know, BIG if there) do we get a shot at a bowl with the other 5-win teams, or does the extra loss

I truly don’t understand why you’d want to see this awful team in a bowl

Because I am a BYU fan and want to see BYU play whenever I can. The added revenue for going to a bowl game also

No. We just lament the fact that terrible QB play cost us 4 or 5 more wins.
