They were mostly pointing out the selective nature of enforcing the rule.
Especially where it gets broken 5-6 times leading up to the final play of the game when they decide to call it for the first time. Like it or not, that makes it a bad call.
But again, like IndyCoug pointed out, the PAT was blocked. It's plenty debatable whether moving it back 15 yards was the reason it was able to be blocked.
Either way, the lengths many CBers go to defend bad calls that go their way astounds me.
