Results absolutely matter. If I could have any coach at BYU (Saban, Kelly, Harbaugh, etc) I think Wittingham is probably
in my top 20. I know BYU is not going to get the blue chip recruits, but I know Wittingham will make the most of what BYU has. I feel like if you plugged Wittingham in at Alabama, he probably is in contention for a national championship.
Wittingham is the type of coach who has his players prepared, minimizes mental errors (recent timeout notwithstanding), and always has a great defense.
His biggest weakness is inability to find an OC that can work under him.
