My parents and my other siblings will be gathered in AZ for Christmas, but my family (4 kids (2 with their spouses, my wife, MIL, and three grandkids, plus two friends my wife is bringing from China) will be in Utah.

1) I just flew 20 hours from China, and she expects me to do a day trip to AZ?

3) Sure, there is never bad weather around Christmas in Utah. I'm not going to get stuck and miss Christmas with my own family that's gathered there.
