line is staying with their man all the way to the hoop. Period. Guard penetration has looked effortless for years against BYU. But this season EB is healthy an JH is quicker than anyone else so top of the key D has improved dramatically imo. Haws and Seljaas are still going to get burned, but they both look to be showing as much effort as they can muster.
Second is Childs. He is defending the rim without fouling. That has not been the case with our bigs--they have not been able to stay on the floor. Again, I don't know how you can throw that into a ratings algorithm, but it has been very noticeable to me.
