fan board trying to figure out BYU fans (is anyone surprised at this point?) and not enjoying your time in a P5 conference, mediocre performance from a former BYU player head coach, middling season (once again) in a really weak pac 12. I guess I'm quickly realizing that you don't have much more to keep you safisfied than us BYU fans do. Funny how that works.
I was just wondering, how many basketball games have been cancelled because of a fight, let alone a single wimpy (if we're being honest) punch. How many coaches had to have a conversation about "the incident" with other coaches, even how many in this series?! There have been so many worse things done in this rivalry, it is just mind-boggling to think that a coach, especially a coach who somehow prides himself in his toughness, would require that they have to have some sort of conversation before the series could possibly move on. That is called thin-skin, and it's also called a cop-out. Rose never called him back because he didn't NEED to call him back. But if you and all your red koolaid drinking buddies want to all the sudden require higher moral ground to feel better about your pathetic waste of thin-skinned head coach, by all means, go ahead and feel that way.
Who knows why Emery (it's really hard to spell, I know) felt like texting him. He has been going through some pretty life-changing and likely life-reflective moments lately and might have felt like things were not left how they should have been. Who knows. He didn't need to apologize to him, but he did it anyway. Good for him.
