He stated in several interviews when he was hired the second time, that he begged the previous coaching staff to let him practice getting off press coverage, and they would never let him practice it.

I've still not seen any improvement at all in the ability to get off press coverage. Even against inferior talent (UMASS).

While I suppose it could just be bad luck with talent. Constant dropped balls through out the entire position group both times he's the coach, and zero improvement in the most obvious technique deficiency on this team for years.

I don't see anything that makes me think he is a good coach.
