I started the day in the kitchen, making 3 Tortillas de patata. We ate one for breakfast.
Later in the day, at the party, we began with some bread, jamon serrano, manchego cheese, cold tortilla and spanish chorizo. Everybody loved it. We almost filled up on this.
Next course was lentejas (Lentil stew/soup). This was more popular than I thought it would be. I didn't get a good picture of it...but it's lentil stew, not too attractive...
That was followed by the Paella. I improved this a LOT from the suggestions here (Thanks, guys) and it was a massive hit.
We ran out of time to make churros con chocolate, but at least we has some traditional Spanish turrones y mantecados.
