As an asst coach I'm more concerned with how he's done in asst roles. He did a
phenomenal job recruiting and coaching the D in his last stint with Utah. I'm not going to say that he's a phenomenal recruiter like everyone says about every in state coaching hire, but he at least has connections in Utah's recruiting areas and knows P5 recruiting. He'll be a quality addition to an already really good defensive staff.
