Even though this year was bad, I think that there is an upside to this years team. With all the injuries that the team had to deal with, many players, that would normally not get much playing time, received a lot of playing time. We had freshmen and transfers get valuable experience. With the new coaches coming in, they can take that experience and with more instruction, improve on their play. I am hoping that some real leaders rise up and take over the team. I am hoping that the taste of a really, really bad season will make these guys work even harder in the off season. I know that Grimes is going to push the guys on offense really hard. Hopefully, the defense will see that and decide to up their game also. With new blood in the system comes renewed hope that things will get better.

As to playmakers, I feel this team has several play makers that can do things. They need to get their confidence back and work harder and good things will happen. It would be nice to add a couple of new players, maybe from the JC ranks, that can give an instant boost to the team but I feel that these coaches can and will right the ship.
