Yeah, I saw that article but if I understand it right I need a compatible device
which I don't have. Mine is a Gen 5 iPod Touch. IOS 9.3.5 is the last update for it. I rooted my Android and then I could put pretty much any version of Android OS on it. I'm guessing that doesn't work on IOS.
