Also, aren't there numerous products sold via those models that are still overpriced with overstated value? It seems to me that some products are sold more naturally in a setting where they can be displayed, sampled, and discussed with a person familiar to both the customer and the product. Of course the buyer should exercise caution, as with any sales scenario, but I don't see the selling system as an admission of guilt.
