My wife and I are a bit unconventional when it comes to how we view our kids’ education. Some may label us irresponsible but despite our own graduate degrees from good universities we don’t really care about the quality of schools our kids go to for K-12. Our thought is parental involvement, supplemented with extracurricular STEM training (online, private tutors, etc.), can make up a lot for poor schools. Plus, they get exposure to the socio-economic diversity of attending a lesser school.
Again, a bit unconventional.
