I mean, I work with the deacons and they are all mostly awkward and growing into their bodies. They are also almost all small except the poly kid who already looks like a high school sophomore where his body size is concerned. To me it might make sense to offer a basketball 8th grader who has great touch, has already grown to be 6-2 to 6-4 and is killing it in tournaments with traditionally good competition where they run sophisticated offenses and defenses. Maybe even playing with older boys.

No if this kid is playing high school JV ball as an 8th grader that might make me think a little more. So if that is the case maybe I'm wrong.
