I’m going to assume you’re serious - because even if you’re not, I’m going to guess there are others on here who share your feigned opinion.
And my response to those people is that a good step away from sexism would be to stop expecting women heroines to be asexual (“innocent” in your words).
Again, you might be trolling me here, but I’ll continue anyway. I think we do a great disservice to the women of the church by teaching chastity in a way that makes many of them struggle to have a healthy sexual relationship after getting married.
