I used to be the guy who never turned off a BYU game of any sport no matter how ugly it got. I had season tickets in basketball until this year. And not just BYU, but really any sport. If I had nobody to cheer for, I would cheer for someone to lose.
Now I find myself turning off basketball games BYU is winning easily with 15 minutes to go. I didn't watch probably four or five football games this past season. I always thought my dad was weird when he reached the point in his life where regular season sports were uninteresting.
I watch Bundesliga, because I don't care who wins and the game flows with no commercial timeouts. I watch some tennis and Golden Knights hockey games (again, little stoppage time). Everything is DVR'd and I usually look to see what happened so I can delete it if the game stunk.
