He missed on a quiz. He was trying to make his case that his response was an acceptable answer, and you could tell she wasn’t buying it, but was trying to nicely say “hey, you got close, but not quite.” He kept arguing and finally said “well what could I have done bette?” And she just looked at him (and you could tell she was done arguing) and said “you could have put the right answer” and turned to talk to another student. Ouch.
