It's not a good place for sympathy, but it's a good place to vent.
I got some things off my chest and I think we all had some fun (hopefully).
I went back and looked at my original post. I think it's pretty clear that the discussion was directed at her in a small group. It omitted some details and context, but I still think it's pretty egregious for boys to talk that way in front of a female classmate in a class setting. Particularly one who is two grades below. Doesn't change that my gut reaction was over the top.
