Maybe he should work more on getting OPEN, then hitting the open shot, instead gyrating around hopeing to get a foul call, and missing the shot also, then complain. Even when he is on the outside and open, he always seems to move, shuffle his feet etc. rather than just take the shot. I don't say he is a poor player, sure he is good for the team, but he is not an outstanding player. There are a lot of kids out there who could get the same results. He has a lot of potential, but potential doesn't win games. I've seen the video's of dad teaching his boys to shoot all kinds of crazy shots. That's fine, but they need to be able to shoot the normal shots with consistency and play defense,, and especially to quit whining to the refs.. They are going to give you the call so quit always trying to get contact, just shoot the ball and MAKE it.
