Go to BYU? If my kid is a top tier recruit and has options to go to USC, Oregon, or Washington how could I convince my son to go to BYU? Same with these other kids that chose Stanford over BYU. I can’t blame the kid. BYU doesn’t have much to offer right now beside a good churchy feeling. I don’t need my son to go to BYU to become a good person. That can happen anywhere.

If BYU isn’t winning and relevant on a national stage, why should we expect to get any of these kids? Most parents realize there is good everywhere and not just at BYU. We need to realize as fans that if we suck on the field, we won’t get good recruits. It’s pretty simple.
