Big mistake on my part was deciding on a last minute trip. First it was gonna be just myself and girlfriend to the beach. I wanted to take my son and then her 3 daughters were invited. My oldest daughter found out about it and was very upset we didn't invite her and hubby and baby. So now we have 9 of us going last minute and my son says, "there's no way you can go down there and not go to Disney". Needless to say that was one expensive day. That trip turned out to be overall one of the best trips i've had and really gave us a chance to see how our families may blend, which they did very well. (but the whole time I was at disney I wanted to curse it ...1480.00 dollars for the 8 of us for one day, not including food, and long lines to boot...I guess I'm too practical)
Glad you've had a better experience. Doing one day isn't financially worth the cost.
