...and a group of policemen roaming around outside. I wondered what the heck was going on. I went ahead and parked, and the police looked over at me, but didn't seem particularly interested, so I went on up to the doors. They were locked, and they had been unlocked just 2 hours before when I dropped my daughter off. The police had moved on the other direction, so I couldn't ask what was up.

I went to the front of the school, and the doors there were open. Nobody was panicking, the play was just finishing, everything seemed fine.

Turns out the police were there in an active shooter training exercise. All the play attendees had been informed of the exercise so they wouldn't panic, but I had no idea. I was just a little freaked out for a bit.
