Personally I think the quality of basketball and how the best don’t stay has hurt basketball more. You can’t cheer for the kid from NC or Duke because their fine after 1-2 years. You never know them. It’s good to have team you dislike with a face to go with it. Bobby Hurley or Jordan you knew. You became invested. I wish they could make them stick for 3 years. Maybe still have them drafted to get the paycheck when they graduate or if they get hurt type of thing but I think that’s hurt basketball more.
