He said that last year Zach Katoa redshirted, but mid season Fred Warner and some of the other captains came to the coaching staff asking them to lift the redshirt because they though he was too good to sit. I'm sure this was compounded by all the injuries as RB. Ultimately they obviously decided to keep the redshirt. I think this bodes well for Zach's future though.
