for how we are to succeed. you play in a lower division that matches our talent to make the season meaningful. then you jump up a time or two during the year and pretend you're big time.

when we were in the mWC the division of talent wasn't as stark. the money difference wasn't there. the clear delineation between the haves and the have nots was not there as it is now.


we need to be in the mwc for travel, have traditional rivals, and play utah and MAYBE one other p5 per year. that's it. that is our only path to success. the path we are on is leading to program death.

you don't field a JV team and play a bunch of varsity programs and then complain the fans don't show up.
