Since this was in the street I did not let my companion get out of the car to back me up(obviously). He however, was a bit upset that we broke the rule. I tried to explain it would be a lot more dangerous for him to get out into the street, but he didn't like that.

So after that I may or may not have gone the wrong way several times on purpose that day so that I would have to back up and he would have to get out of the car to spot me.
