You are so close to hitting the nail on the head...the problem with this hire
is not Lee himself. No one has a problem with Lee. It is a problem with Rose hiring an unproven, no experience former BYU basketball player.
The program has seen poor coaching over the past 3 years. We needed some new life and ideas and instead got a guy who was already around for that same coaching. I'm sure Lee is a bright young man and may make a great coach one day, but what he knows is what Rose knows and has taught him. Very little else (compared to most coaches).
