The RMP changes had a grandfather clause for 20 years or so I think.
I don't sell back to RMP, I accrue a 1:1 kWh credit for power I push back. I can then use those to offset the times I use more than I produce, like at night or cloudy days. The new deal gives a lesser credit for over-production. I think they peg it to wholesale electricity rates and then you pull out at retail rates.
