Worked at a movie theater in college. I wasn't the usher that night but was told
By a customer that a person had brought a 4- or 5-year-old into Resident Evil.
She said the kid was so scared she was balled up in the fetal position with her head in her knees.
The parent didn't take the kid out. Just watched the rest of the movie.

On a related note, I am always stunned when people bring their infants to movies

I'd support a minimum age for R movies, regardless of parent accompanying them

Right, CPS should be taking these kids. Come on, get real. But the theater should be kicking these kids out

But why did the theater allow that to happen?

I went to see It. Literally a movie about a monster that eats kids.
