Whitney come up and speak to our youth yesterday.

What a fantastic couple! They both gave incredible talks to the youth about standing alone and sticking up for your beliefs no matter what the circumstance. Afterwards they did a Q&A with the youth. The youth just loved it as they offered such a great message.

A couple of takeaways:
Jimmer married well. Whitney is very smart and funny and very relatable to the youth.
Jimmer is making a difference in China. Hundreds of people have seen his example and are attending the "Chinese" Mormon Church (Jimmer has to attend the non Chinese one).
Jimmer thinks he has been led to China when talking about how things worked out. A youth asked him about serving a mission and it is quite clear that Jimmer is having an influence on thousands (if not more) Chinese people. He is not allowed to proselyte, but can answer questions and his example has been huge. The Chinese government had officials meet with him to see what he was doing because so many people have come to go to "Jimmer's" Church.
Jimmer has another year with the Sharks, but isn't sure what he will do after that. He will only be 29 so his options are open.
Jimmer and Whitney have a great testimony of the Gospel, love BYU and are great examples of what we are all striving to be!
