So I go over to visit a buddy when I’m living in Provo one day and he isn’t home. I text him and he says he is next door at his neighbors house and they are just hanging out in the front room so just walk in.

I open the door and there is a group of people sitting on the couch. I notice a girl that I had just started dating and hanging out with. I shut the door behind me and then immediately I see it. This big ol’ snake laying in the middle of the floor. Must have been at least 10 feet long. Biggest snake I had ever seen and I am deathly afraid of them. Even the little ones you find outside I won’t go near.

If I hadn’t noticed that girl the split second before I saw the snake I’m sure I would have screamed like a girl and walked right back out that door. I tried to play it off like it was no big deal that this massive python was just sitting in the middle of the room I’m sure I looked something like this:

I guess one of the guys in that house owned the snake and they had bought a little bunny and were letting it run around to see if the snake would eat it. (Weird, I know. Don’t know why we were hanging out with these weirdos)

In retrospect it would have saved me a lot of time and money had I just screamed like a girl, ran back out that door, and then been too embarrassed and never talked to that girl again.
