I use MLB.tv primarily in Utah, where only the DBacks and Rockies are blacked out. As a Yankee fan, that hardly effects me.

Drove down to my parent's house in Vegas for the weekend. 6 teams are blacked out, all 5 California teams and Arizona. Fine.

The Yankees are playing the Angels, so that is blacked out. But the game is in New York. So if part of the black out policy is to influence me to go to games, sorry I am not flying 2000 miles to watch this game. The other part of the black out policy is to get people to pay for cable packages and watch the Angels on tv, cause they pay a lot for local streaming rights. But they are blacking out the game for a person that watches primarily from Utah. Am I supposed to purchase a cable package for the weekend when i travel? Bleh.

It all doesn't matter cause my parents pay for cable and I can watch the Angels FS channel. But I'll have to listen to their commentators. And the whole policy is dumb. /rant
