...places to pull off and set up camp. There are some pull outs right along the highway too, but those are quite often taken. Try FR 041. There are lots of places to pull out and camp, and there are some nice lakes along the way. Alexander Lake is nice, but the map might fool you into thinking you can drive right up to it. Unless you have a pretty decent 4 wheel drive, you really can't. Still, it's a nice area to camp, and the lake is within walking distance. You could also give it a try on the northern part of that road, up near Haystack Lake.
