at 20-30 lbs, especially post-mission, although he might lose some explosiveness if he's not careful. Some kids change a lot from 17-20 and some don't so it's hard to project. He looks more like an LB than a DE to me at this point, just physically, but if he's really 230 and that skinny, he could pretty easily get to a lighter 4-3 DE size of 250-260.
If he's fast enough laterally and has a good feel for the game, I could also see him doing well as a 3-4 ILB or rush OLB (where the hand work and rush technique he has learned as a DE will still be relevant and helpful) without bulking up too much. In BYU's current 4-3 scheme though he may have his best shot as an outside rush DE.
