this is not "PPV" in the traditional sense.
PPV is an open channel where you pay per game if you want the programming.

A regional sports channel like the.mtn is available for a flat monthly fee as part of a package which is usually nominal

ESPN Gameplan: $14.95 per week

Dish regional sports package with all the regional sports channels: $4.95/mo .

The only time the.mtn might get involved with a PPV deal is if there were overlapping games, and someone in one regional market wanted to watch a different game than the one being broadcast in that region (and, according to Mr. Hedlund, it is more likely that cable providers will just show that other game on an alternate channel--that is very good news, indeed).
