Probably an insensitive and inappropriate time to moralize about insurance.
More than a few of us have unexpectedly found ourselves in desperate economic circumstances with young families to care for, where we’ve been forced for a while to choose between eating and things like insurance. The boy received medical care and it’s doubful an insurance policy would have made a difference here.
