No better person to play quarterback at BYU. But in the end was not a coach
to execute, discipline and hold players accountable. Same could be said of Reno Mahe. No nicer guy ever played receiver/back at BYU and a person you'd rather go float the Provo river than demand excellence until the players hate him.
