What i have learned in the last year on CB about BYU Football & Talent
Imagine a BYU playing a Big 10 schedule? Every Week?
Michigan
Ohio State
Penn a State
Wisconsin
Michigan State
Northwestern
Purdue
Iowa
Etc.

No weeks off.

BYU isn’t close currently. But the argument would be that if we were in the B10, then we could recruit better, and get better athletes.

But the rebuttal is honor code and we couldn’t keep these types of players.

Then the side rubuttal is Stanford has a limited pool and is a perennial Top 10 team, if they can do it so...can we.

Rebuttal is we will lose head to head to Stanford in recruiting and have done every time(only reason Taysom left was he couldn’t get admitted early or he would have stayed @Stanford). We aren’t Stanford.

Then the rebuttal is we just need to get every good LDS athlete and BYU will be fine.

Back rebuttal says that’s not realistic and the best lds are going to bigger programs.

Then back rebuttal is to go to the MWC and play in a New Years 6 game because BYU has no prayer now.

The rebuttal is stay independent. Or get into the Big 12.

What about poor coaching? That’s it. Get rid of bronco. Now murmurings of get rid of Sitake.

Rebuttal is we need good non LDS coaches.

Rebuttal back is it’s not coaching but talent.

Around we go...back to #1 above.

Just have to win. That solves everything. But somethings gotta change after next season. But after the reasons above....if BYU doesn’t win/go 10-2....and i don’t see them doing that in 2018,2019 or 2020.

is the BYU football machine and alignment fixable dealing with all the above?
