For me it depends on the location and company. A week camping with your in-laws,
for example will likely be the longest ten years of your life (ask me how I know).
A camping trip exploring a new location with a group of people who are not your in-laws can be a lot of fun.
I don’t think of it as vacation because it’s a lot of work to make it happen, but it can be fun for me.
