Solo bombed because it was released at a horrible time, was poorly marketed, and
had a lot of baggage from the production.
If you want to know what the impact of the TLJ was you have to wait until Episode IX comes out. If Episode IX is off 15%+ from TLJ, than I think it is a safe assumption that TLJ tarnished the brand. If it is not, then maybe we can put to bed that TLJ tarnished the Star Wars brand.
